As title asks, will I have clearance issues?

I've been using wheeloffsetcalculator.com... Seems like I'll have ~1.25 additional clearance/offset/pushed out to clear UCA, correct?

I've been reading about reverse + full steering lock rub affecting rear mud flap, skid plate, fender liner?

Any clarification would be much appreciated, thanks!

Other KO2 size is 285, but it looks a little skinny, IMO. Hoping to maximize the tire with the additional width I'm getting with the wider wheels.

Keeping OEM TRD Off-Road wheels for winter wheel/tire set-up.

Looking forward to the TRD Pro suspension to improve ride & give subtle lift. Kinda keeping an OEM+ theme going - TRD Pro grille & suspension, TRD RSB, 2018 Tundra LED headlights... I'm excited! My first truck!

Thanks guys!

Yes. It's questionable if you will need the BMC. If you stick with wheels that have at least +25 offset you will not need a BMC, just minimal plastic trim.

I have a 2.5" front lift on my 2014.
Stock TSS wheels at +55 offset with 285/55/20 KOs.
I bought some aftermarket wheels w/ +18 offset and had those tires put on them.
I had a strong rub going in reverse at full steering wheel lock.
2 tire dealers never could get the steering wheel to stop shimming so the seller took them back.
I put my TSS wheels back on.

As @rruff stated if you keep your offset above +25 you shouldn't have rub.
Not so much the tire size you're wanting will be an issue, but the +12 offset wheels will get you needing mods.

The tires you're looking at are only a .5" taller than the 305/55/20 my dealership puts on some of their new TSS Tundras (+55 offset wheels).
They also install a 3/1 spacer lift on those trucks.
Although it doesn't leave much UCA clearance.

Ok, so +12 offset should leave me UCA room since wheel is effectively pushed out from wheel well, correct?

But, I will need to mod fender liner if I want to avoid rub when in reverse at full steering lock?

Anything I'm missing?

I'm running same size tires (Falken at3w though) on stock TRD 5 lug wheels. Had to only trim my skidplate (could have bent it up but easier to cut). No issues anywhere. It DOES look very close to the UCA but I had 80K on my last set w/zero issues w/internal rubbing or I would have gone to a spacer or narrower tire. My installer said I could have gone to 70's w/no issue as well but thats the cutoff.

Your +12 offset is what will cause your tires to rub something.
If you kept it at +25 or higher, there would be no issue.

The +18 wheels I had caused rubbing issues that a liner mod may have fixed.
I'm not sure, I didn't keep them.
I have a TRD Pro skid plate so there was no issue rubbing with it.

Good to hear! I think I'll be fine regarding UCA clearance since wheels will be ~1.25 inch farther outboard.

I'll have to look into exactly what mudflap (in front of tire?) I'll have to modify/remove for clearance. Also, how the skidplate is contact when steering is at full lock I assume...

Thanks! I really like the look of the 305 vs 285 width...

If you have +55 or less offset, you should be fine with the UCA.

Do you really want the wheels to stick out? Because even +25 will stick outside the fender a decent amount. The more they stick out the more trimming you'll have to do.

I did end up going with 305/65 BFG KO2, and they're huge!

I do want the aggressive offset of the KN BFD wheels, just the look I'm after... That much offset probably adds some negative camber too, maybe it'll help with turn-in?

I'll keep TRD Off Road wheels for my winter tire set. Any value in selling my OEM Michelins with ~7K on them? I'm thinking Nokian winter tires - any suggestions?

And... Because of the extra weight of the BFG tires, looks like I'll have to consider those long tube headers/full exhaust mod to add back the power I lost due to increased unsprung weight!

Offset doesn't effect camber.
You should be able to get decent money for your Michelins. Maybe half retail?
You lost some initial acceleration because your gear ratios got taller. But any reason for an exhaust upgrade sounds good to me! ;)
