So I'm about to order either an LRO or toytech 3/1 kit for my 08 DC TRD 4x2. Question for the gurus is that I have 68000 miles right now. If I go the toytec route I figure I will replace the stuts while it's torn apart. Are the stocker bilstein that came with the truck a good replacement? Shockwarehouse has em for like $80. The second question is that I have heard the toytec is only giving about 2.5" of lift versus a full 3'..any one have expierence on this. That may lean me towards the LRO if so. The only offroading I do is down the dirt roads at deer camp.

Thanks

Have u thought about bilstein 5100's? That could kill 2 birds with one stone, meaning the 5100's r adjustable to give u a 2.5" lift on the top setting, they cost around $180-190 for both. So u Will have a lift without a spacer & u will have new struts. Then get u some shackles for the rear from coachbuilder n u will b set
