I’m trying to order some ridge grapplers and I want something wider than I currently have I have 275/65r20 st maxx right now.

I am going between 295/60r20 and 285/60r20

They will be mounted on the stock tss wheels +50 offset

I actually want to be a little shorter to help with the gear ratio since I tow my 5er pretty regularly. But I also don’t want to go too small. I love the look of the 34” tire. If I didn’t tow so much, I’d go up to a 35 and do the bmc.

Found a website that has 15% off for Father’s Day and an inexpensive install at a local shop.

I ended up ordering the 285/60r20 Ridge Grapplers. After a lot of research, i am fairly certain the 295/60r20 would clear, but it would be close. I don't want to take the chance since I am not buying them from the local shop and if they don't fit, its on me. I have seen quite a few pictures of the 295/55r20 clearing the uca, but at over an inch taller, the bulge of the tire will be closer to the ball joint and I didn't want to chance it. The 285's were cheaper too.

I can't tell from your pic, is the front lifted at all?

I have a 275/60/20 KO2s on TSS wheels with a 2.5" lift and it clears fine.
.5" narrower and .5" shorter than your 285/60/20.
I almost bought 285/60/20 KOs2 but there were another $400 and the fitting was iffy from what I read.
I might try 285/60/20 on my next purchase, it would certainly fill the wheel well nicely.

A few years ago me local dealer was putting 305/55/20s on TSS Tundras with a 3/1 lift kit.
The 305/55/20 just barely cleared the UCA..
Those would be .8" wider and 1.25" shorter than your 285/60/20.

Looking forward to seeing how your purchase goes..

Yes I have 2.75” lift from the 6112s on the top setting.

I have almost an 3/4”- 1” to the UCA Tuff Country which gets me an extra 1/4”) now with the 275/65r20.

I’m not worried about the 285 clearing. I didn’t want to chance going wider and being stuck with tires or having to get spacers or new wheels. From pictures and write ups, the 295-305 fitment is iffy at best.

I got the tires installed today. I’m pretty sure the 295’s would have fit. It would be pretty close though.

The installers put the wrong sidewalls out but I’m ok with it after seeing it in person compared to pictures online.

Too late to help but I had 285-60-20 Duratracs which cleared fine.
I had originally wanted to go 295-60-20 as well but from the posts I had seen, they would rub a bit on the stock UCA's to the Trail Grapplers one of the guys had.
When the 285's got old, I went with P275-60-20 because they were a lot lower priced,I don't have my TT anymore and downsized from a full 3" lift to a 1.5".
