i have a 06 tundra with 3/1 leveled kit looking to see what offset i need to use if i get the 295/55/20 addict rims and tires i want. possitive or negative offset? and will it work with little rubbing? options for the rims are -12 offset or positive 18. will they work? thanks for the replies.

Go with the lower -12mm offset. With your 3/1 if it rubs it will be minor.

295/55/20 will clear fine with either offset with the leveling kit. At the store I run we always run the 305/55/20 tires and the fit fine without rubbing as well with anything from -12 to +18 offsets. We just have to do some minor modifications. First you will need to remove the mudflaps on the front of the vehicle. Then, you will need to pull back the inner fender liner by removing the two screws that hold it to the bottom of the bumper on each side. Then, simply push back the liner about an inch to inch and a half, poke new holes to line up with clip that the screw went into, then reinstall screws. Bingo Bango! No more rubbing.

Will the 305/55-20 fit okay on the factory 20 inch platinum wheels. I will have a 2.5 spacer up front. I believe the platinum wheels are 8 inches wide.

It's a like wide for the factory wheel but people do it. You will definitely need the soccer to clear the control arm with the stock wheel. You can also consider a 285/60/20 or 275/60/20. The will both fit the stock wheel and help to fill the wheel well and give a much more aggressive look.

For. 305/55/20 it requires a rim width from 8.5-11. Like I previously stated it will fit but it's a little wide for the wheel. The down sides will be increased center tire wear and feathering or cupping of the shoulders. Refer to my other sizes I listed for better fitment. Or if you don't mind the down sides go ahead with the 305/55/20. At least you will go into the purchase educated on what will happen.
