I've got an F150 lease that up relatively soon, and I'm thinking of switching to a Tundra 5.7 CrewMax. I have a '16 Ecoboost 3.5 and it's been great, no complaints whatsoever, just want something different. Has anyone towed a 24' enclosed car Hauler with a similar truck? It's about 7500 lbs loaded but it's fairly tongue heavy (car, quad, tools, etc)

I tow an 8500 pound 5th wheel with no issues.

You might have to install air bags on the truck if the tongue weight is too much, or if you have a weight distributing hitch it might be a non issue.

The tundra like 75 mph in 5th gear, 65 mph in 4th. I like running in 4th, its safer. No one needs to drive 75+ towing a big trailer.

No gear hunting in 4th to annoy me. Put the cruise on and just enjoy the drive.
