I’m putting on the BDS lift next week and am about to order wheels and tires. I love the moto metal 962’s with the -44 offset, but will they fit? I’m assuming you’ll have to do the body mount chop? If so is that all the trimming you’ll need to do?

The offset on the wheels will make a huge difference. Contact BDS, they're a great group of folks and can answer just about any question you have. Keep in mind, the greater the offset, the more the weight will be shifted further from the center of the hub bearing which can cause early failure on the hub bearings. My RAM was plagued with right hub bearing failures (at my own fault of course) by putting a greater offset wheel on it.

My 2012 Tundra with the 7" BDS with 35" tires held up great. I'm just as confident with my 2016 Tundra with the 7" lift and 37" tires.

Your forward fender liner will need to be disconnected from the lower bumper mount and slightly pushed forward and zip tied forward; otherwise it will rub. PM me your email address and I can send pics of it.

Also, yes, the body mount will have to be trimmed. Consider these:

My wheels are 10" wide, so you may have more issues with rubbing. You may want to consider moving the bumper forward 1/2 an inch: https://www.boss4x4s.com/boss_4x4s_front_bumper_spacer_kit_gain_5_inches_clearance_stock
