Hi guys,

Its time to get new tires on my 2017 Crewcab Limited TRD. I currently have the original stock p275/65/R18 Michelin LTX A/T 2 with 43,000 miles on them.

I'm looking to get a bigger tire that will fill the wheel well out a bit more, but not crazy big. I believe i would like to keep the width the same..... so is P275/75/R18 the size i should get????

Whats a good tire size that will not cause any sensor problems or huge speedo changes?

Thanks for the help.

I do not believe any major tire manufacturers make a 275/75 18 tire. You can go 275/70 18 (33x10.8) or 285/65 18 (32.5x11.2) or 285/70 18 (34x11.2). Stock tires should run around 32x10.8.

I have 35k on my stock LTX AT2's and they are ready to be replaced as well. I do tow approx. 6k lbs somewhat regularly so I'm not surprised to only get 35k out of the P rated tires. I plan to for with 275/70 18 LT E rated tire once I add the bilstein 6112's and 5160's.

AZBoatHauler,

Thanks for the info. What do you think is the largest size I can go with on my stock 2017 Crewcab Limited TRD?

Thanks Again,

275/70 18 will be the tallest you can run without modification. (you might have to remove the tiny air dam in front of wheel but it is unlikely) 285/65 18's will also work. I have not heard of anyone able to fit 295s without doing some modification.
