I bet the switch is sensing high motor resistance and is shutting off early. The motor could be compromised a bit, maybe it's the temp, dirt in the window channel?
I did an online search for the window switches. I found something about possible fires and a lack of grease. It worked fine this morning. Yesterday, it was messed up.Call your dealership and have them run your VIN for a C0M recall. I don't remember the cut off date for year model but the C0M recall deals with the driver's side window switch.
They should have no problem looking that up for you, if I was at work I'd do it here but alas, it's Sunday!
