I just bought a used 2010 5.7L Crewmax with 65K miles on it.
I had the truck at the dealer today getting my gas pedal replaced per the safety recall and when the tech. came out to talk to me he said that I have a very small leak, barely noticeable from my timing cover.
I've read through the threads on here and unfortunately I do not have the extended warranty on the truck.
Any idea what I am going to be looking at price and time wise? Although I like my dealer I think there are more cost effective, quality shops I could use in the Houston area.
The threads on this site seem to agree that quite a bit of the engine needs to be disassembled. If its taken apart I am sure there are some other things I could get ahead on.
Thanks All
