My 2007 Tundra will not allow me to lock the doors from the outside with the key fob once the engine is running. I would like to know if there is a work around for this, as I like to warm up my truck in the winter but I really would at least like to be able to lock the doors while it is running.

It's a safety feature, to prevent locking the keys in the truck. Not sure there is a work-around.
I have a 2016 TRD OffRoad and it is a safety feature from what I was told.. you can only lock it from the drivers door with a key.
