So this morning as I slowed down and went to turn in to my folks drive the steering felt like the truck died and I had no power steering. Then when I left and got to the stop.sign and went to take of it felt like it stuck again. I have crawled under and looked and this is the only thing I've saw.

Why is that? It's probably like $275 if you can even find one. Lol. I usually just get what the Auto Parts offers.

Pull the oil change skid plate and inspect the lower steering U joint assembly .
I hear it can corrode and cause this . Plus that tie rod end .
While doing the tie rod end ,, a good time while its un hooked , the entire wheel assembly should flop back n forth pretty easy with no gripe ing spots .
good luck

I let my 2015 truck sit for several weeks, same thing happened, very hard to steer. Took it to the dealer, steering column u joint rusts up and gets very stiff. Had to get a new column, Extened warranty covered it. 😎
