Hello,

I am trying to remove the type B fuse on my 08 tundra.
I have separated the top of the fuse box from the bottom.

I cannot figure out how to to remove the Type B fuse holder from underneath
The fuse box top.

Can some give me some advice?

TYPE B ( FUSE LINK) Removale.

BeerGuy,
no that is not it.

If you are looking at your fuse box under the hood were your positive terminal
lands.
To the right of that our 4 small windows. This is labeled as type B fuses in the owners manual on page 566.

This also referred to as a fuse link.

Hello, Update I gave up on trying to get the fuse link out and was going to take it to the shop.

But now I cant get it out of park to get it there.

Here is a list of everything that does not work.
NO STEREO
NO TURN SIGNALS
NO BRAKE LIGHTS
NO POWER WINDOWS
NO POWER LOCKS
NO HEATER FAN
NO OUT DOOR TEMP \ CLOCK DISPLAY
WILL NOT COME OUT OF PARK.

Electrical problems 08 tundra

Well,
The TOY was towed to my Favorite shop.
BIG O In Anchorage AK.

Good news everything is working except the gauges and a airbag and ABS light on.

I am being told this is from a failure of my auto start and now it will be a process of elimination in tracking down shorts.

Please take note that a properly installed name brand auto start is fine.
Mine was a name brand but shorty workmanship made it fail.

So always pick a repeatable installer, that money you think you are saving will be spent later at a shop tracking down the shorty workmanship.

Living in SoCal I have no need for an auto-start, but glad that you got yours sorted out. And a lesson for all of us.

Fuse Link/Type B Fuse Replacement

I am happy to find this recent chain. My Tundra is stranded and having similar electrical issues. Some items not working and will not go out of park. I need to check and potentially replace some of the Type B fuses, but not sure how to get to them. Any ideas or information you could share before I try to have it towed to the shop?
