i knew the 4Runner experiment wouldn't last long, and I finally found a Tundra that I liked. After much haggling, I was able to drive away in this beautiful 2014 Tundra SR5. Sure, it's only 2WD, but my days of mudding and driving through fields are done. There's no good justification for me to buy a 4WD or the huge 5.7. I simply do not need those options.
