Medium Metallic Turquoise/Wimbledon White
Spring Sports Special - trim and wheels from the XL 7 Litre muscle car
Purchased from original owner in September 1997. The car is in unrestored condition, and is registered. It has 111,000 original miles, has never seen snow, and rarely sees rain. This car is driven for fun only, to cruise nights, car shows, and the occasional joy ride ending up somewhere that serves ice cream. We used it as the "limo" for my daughter's wedding in July 2011.
1966 Ford Galaxie 500 (Medium Metallic Turquoise/Wimbledon White)
Un-Molested 390 C.I. FE engine. Holley 2V carb. Got rid of the points & condenser, and installed a Pertronix electronic ignition conversion and Pertronix Flamethrower coil. Replaced all belts, hoses, and wires with Motorcraft parts stenciled to look like originals. Autolite spark plugs and Autolite cased AGM battery all makes engine compartment like `60s vintage daily driver. New radiator 5-2-16
Original. Held up very well for 50 years. Carpets to be replaced when I have the cash.
Mostly original. Front bumper and right fender replaced to due minor parking lot collision in 60's. Door weatherstripping needs replacement....need cash first.
Kraco FM converter hidden in the glove box. Stock AM radio is behind bezel for entire instrument cluster, preventing easy after-market replacement.
New coil springs all around. New upper & lower ball joints, bushings, tie-rods, shocks, etc. Up until 2011 original suspension parts were still on the car, but tired.
Wheel and Tire
XL Styled wheel covers, part of "Spring Special" trim package. Running Mastercraft 1" whitewall radials for original look, but better ride and handling.
