Hi, I have 305/55/20 I think that is a 33.2 on my 08 Tundra now. I am going to install a 3/1 leveling kit and was wandering, what is the biggest tire I can install. Can I put 34? 35?

I was thinking of 325/60/20, I think that is a 35.5, would this work?

Thank you.

Definitely depends on the offset. I have 295/60/20's on 50mm offset. They're 34.5" tall, and there's room for more height, but there's no way I could go any wider. I did some very minor modification to make that work.

According to the tire calculator

I have 305/55/20 = 33.2
Ez4u2chere, have 295/60/20 = 33.9
Walkfuu have 35/12.5/20 = 35 minor mods required

I think 35 may by a bit to big, would like to get something like

305/60/20 =34.4

But the only people that make that tire is
Good year Wrangler and Toyo Open Country

Is any one running this tires?

the easiest way for people to tell you what will/will not fit would be to tell us what wheels your going to run along with the offset and backspacing

Ez4u2chere what is your mileage, mpg on the 295/60/20. Thanks..
I'm not sure, but it definitely affected it. They're a lot heavier than my stock 305/50 street tire Michelins. I'd say at least 2mpg difference.

One of my normal 30 mile journey's used to yield right at or just under 18mpg according to the display. It now reads about 15mpg for the same journey.

BUT YOU CAN'T RELY ON THE DISPLAY, ESPECIALLY WITH DIFFERENT SIZE TIRES!

When you figure your mileage with larger tires, keep in mind, not only is your speedometer going to be off, but your odometer will be off as well.

My stock 305/50/20 was a 32"~ tire. The 295/60/20 Terra Grapplers are 34.5~. That's about an 8% difference, so 1 mile on the highway actually reads .92 miles on the odometer. Your digital mpg readout will not be close to accurate.

To figure out your gas mileage, you need to do some extra calculating by adding 8% to the total miles.

For example, if your odometer says you went 300 miles, and your truck take 20 gallons to fill, you'd think you were getting 15mpg.
300 / 20 = 15 mpg

In actuality, you drove 8% more miles than 300.

(300 x 1.08) / 20 = 16.2 mpg

I have 20x9 50mm offset, and the reason I said there's no way I could go any wider is because I can't stick anything larger than a pencil between the control arm and the 12 1/4" wide tire. My tires also fit inside the wheel well a little more than flush with the flare. I actually wish they would at least be flush with the flare, or stick out just a tad beyond. I've actually thought about getting some hubcentric spacers to get the look, but I've never been a fan of spacers.

I think the size you are looking at with a 25mm offset will look great.
