LRO 3/1, tires are 35x12.50, rims are 20x8.5 +10mm.. modded front fender liners & body mount, haven't put skidplate back on yet since it really doesn't bother me.

Super helpful. Thank you for the details and pictures!!!

When you say you modified the body mount. What does that entail and what are the possible consequences??? Thanks!

I will be running a 9 offset. Will body mounts need to be modified? What does that mean if so? what are the ramifications of that??

This might be a dumb question.
when someone says the rims are 20x8.5 +10mm
what's the +10mm mean?

thanks sorry for the dumb question.

@Gdubz the + or - followed by a number measured in millimeters is the wheel offset, or the distance (in millimeters) the center mounting ring of the wheel is offset from the centerline of the wheel. A negative offset means the center hub is closer to the inside of the wheel, pushing the entire wheel out of the fender more (more aggressive), while a positive offset means the hub is closer to the outside face of the wheel, leaving you with a more tucked in look. Factory wheels come stock at +60mm and are flush with the fender. Anything closer to 0 or in the negative numbers from that original +60 is going to give your tire/wheel package a more aggressive look (sticking further out from wheel wells/fenders).

The body mount protrudes out a little in our fender wells, the chop is when someone cuts off the excess and rewelds a piece of metal closer to the actual mount and in turn creates more clearance for larger wheels and tires.

Possible consequences - Can't really think of many.

I did the BMC. Only concern I have is rust. We painted it, but it's difficult to get paint coverage on the interior. I might go back in eventually and see how it's doing, clean, sand a little to rough the surface, prime, and recoat with more Rustoleum semi-gloss protective enamel. Otherwise, I don't see it causing any structural issues.

Let me know if there's a better rattle-can option.

- Thread for installing drivers side grab handle in Gen 3. Directions on page 2. SparksParts.com now sells the kit (see page 25). Best upgrade out there.

I think we talked about this almost a year ago, but what sort of numbers are you running on lift? Spindles, right? Also, are those the 18" Methods 308 Roosts? Is the backspacing on those sufficient, or are you running spacers as well? I've been planning to get those shoes on my rig this summer, wrapped in Ridge Grappler 35s. Great looking truck!

Questions, questions, questions, lol

Yes 3.5" spindles. Wheels are 18 offset. No spacers needed.
