been trolling here to look at members wheel/tire specs and also suspension and now im lost on what offset i need!
looking to do 20x9 wheels with 35" tires and a 6" lift. my question is what offset will get the sidewalls to be flush with an added pocket style flare to the fenders? 2011 tundra.
thanks in advance and sorry if this topic has been beaten like a dead hoarse!
A zero or +1 will stick out about 2" and would be flush if you added flares.Your stock/factory wheels are +60mm or mine were on a 2015.Every 25mm less will stick out 1"
thanks for the reply. If a wheel is not offered in an offset close can spacers be used to make the difference? Is there a spacers size that would be considered unsafe. Thanks again
I remember seeing a member on here running 295/70/18 with a +18 offset and he said it was flush with his pocket flares. As mentioned above probably anything from a 0 to +18 or so will get u where you want. Tire width will also impact where it will line up as well so keep that in mind.
Also take a look through the all tire and wheel thread there are lots of pics and setups in there. You can run spacers on the wheels, lots do it, but that is usually with the higher offset wheels like the stock wheels.
