XD monsters and lug length

New to the site and lurking so I can learn more.

I have a new to me 2012 DC. it came with the rims, but as I tinker and learn about the truck I noticed the lug length from the front and back are different. so I asked the dealer if there was a different part # and they told me no.

so for those with after market rims being thicker than stock for the lug nuts to hold them on. they have open lugs so I Can see how many threads are being used when on the rim. (if that makes sense) I have about 6 full turns on the lugs that hold on my front rims with lots of threads left on the nuts. where the back has very little threads left. there is no spacer that I can see.

I thank you for light shed on this for me. truck has 49k miles and I Can assume the rims have been on for a good part of that, but I just want piece of mind if you can understand that.

thanks

That's right... It's an 14' with a foot print gas pedal and a Hurst speed shifter with a pool-ball grip.

My rims have the same ones, so you can see the lugs and how many threads are being used. between the front and back there is a big difference of open threads. the back the lug comes almost to the lip or top of the lug nut. the front the lug only comes to about half if that part of the lug nut.

I will get a pic as soon as I can and that will help explain better as

yes my grammar sucks and not great at explaining my topic.

keep in mind closed type/OEM will not use every thread...... Or it would blow the end out.
