So are the 295 70 18 taller than the 305 65 18? In other words, does it fill the wheel wells better?

Yes, nominally 34.3" vs 33.6" as I recall.

2016 SR DC Long 4x4 5.7L. Intermittent wipers added (?!). MB TKO 18x9 +25. Hankook Dynapro ATM 325/65r18 (34.6x13) Future Offroad RV plans: Bed removed, homebuilt camper installed. Rear seat removed to make room for storage and bikes. King or ADS shocks with 700 lb springs, ~2" lift (may cheap out though). Rear leaves, maybe air bags. And more!

I'm running 1.25" spacers and want to go with the 305's. I have a 3/1 LRO level kit. Seems like a lot of you do not have any clearance issues on stock trucks. Is anyone running spacers? I'm wondering if I would have any rubbing with the spacers.

Molonlabe5118 - your truck looks awesome. great pics too! What fender flares are those? I just ordered the OE-style bushwacker. (another reason I want to use spacers, besides stock being way too tucked in)
