Well to be fair, I was shocked with that weight of that model skid steer.

These trucks can tow a hell of a lot more than what is "rated", but I wouldn't want to on a daily basis.

To be fair, still not shocked at the troll factor.

Lol.

Ah, ol' @BigNuge is just really passionate about load ratings. I get that and don't give him flack about it.

I may or may not been overloaded a time or two, and it is just a decision each of us has to make and live with that decision once the truck is in motion.

These trucks just amaze me every time I work mine. I personally could not imagine towing with a SC and how effortless that must be.

Get your trailer ordered up yet? Interested in what you order up and options you decide to go with.

Talk about swing and a miss. I never commented on, nor posted a calculated weight. I merely commented on the fact that reading comprehension is clearly not a strength of yours given the fact that you could not infer that the pic was taken before the poster added a WDH and suspension upgrades.

Second, I commented on the fact that you have some sort of masterbatory obsession with pointing out everyone who is potentially over the factory tow rating.

Get back under your bridge.

What do YOU tow with your Tundra?

Ok towing experts, what type of black paint should I use to touch-up my receiver? My wife was being really helpful and pulled her friend out of a ditch a while back - and used the chain spots on the hitch to pull from...
Now one is slightly bent and paint missing / rusting.

Flat black or ever try the spray on undercoating from Walmart? That works pretty good.

Mine was rusting too, so I used some gloss black, but flat would work too. I used one of the rust remover discs you attach to your drill to scuff and remove all of the rust.

Used some rough sandpaper to rough up paint and remove some rust. Sprayed with a can of rustoleum black. Did this on our 4runner a few years back and still looks good. Need to do it on our Tundra.
