Let me clarify that having LT doesn't mean having constant issues. A lot of LT are solid. Just be sure to budget for the unocassional "oops". Shit happens no matter the type of suspension

I think that a lot of the issues you are having with your truck are directly related to the short amount of time the build took. When you slap something together like that so quickly, you're bound to miss a few things or have to cut corners to finish it in the extremely short time span that yours took.

NEVER use coozies. Oside was right. After about 20 min of hitting the mall parking lot speed bumps my shocks got so hot that they melted clean off the truck. Since then I've gotten new shock and for protection I used the thinnest mill wrap I could find for the resi. Hoping they don't spontaneously combust this time. lol

No. I didn't actually try coozies. Its still too warm here. I'm waiting til winter when I can slip them on and keep the resis warm and toasty.
