Looking to upgrade but need a bench seat.

Good Morning, I hope someone can help. I want to replace my 2010 Double Cab for a CrewMax. The trouble I'm having is that I need the front bench seat and dual climate control (wifes comfort). I'm being told you can only get dual climate on the upgraded packages which include bucket seats. My 2010 has a bench and dual climate so I suspect this ended somewhere after 2010? Can anyone provide insight?

Thanks

It is true that dual climate control only comes on Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Tundras, but not SR, SR5, or even TRD Pro.
I had a bench in my 2005, but it was an SR5.

Good luck...

I only remember things like dual climate control coming with higher trim levels even on the 2nd gen.
Surprised you had one with both DCC and bench seat.
I wanted the bench seat when I bought my 2011 CM and I had to get a base model to get it. It was very difficult to find a base model CM.
With the way they changed the trim packages for the 3rd gen, I'd say it will be almost impossible to find a CM in base trim with the bench seat. If you do, it probably won't have anything more than basic power features.

I know it’s not an upgrade. I have 2008 base model with bench seat and dual climate controls.

Yeah Toyota cheapened out with the styling change. All 2nd gen, 1st iteration have dual zone except maybe the work truck.
I've never used dual zone. The cab is roomy enough that it is not necessary for me.
Maybe you can attempt a special order.

I had a 2012 Double cab SR with a bench seat and dual climate controls. Sure miss it in my 2016 CrewMax SR5. Miss both the bench and dual controls.

Crew Max SR5. Added Toyota Side Steps. CodeAlarm remote start. LED lights in bed. Tailgate lock actuator. Back seat 12v power outlet and 2 USB power outlets. Rear under seat storage. Front camera. Front window tint. Rear Bully bar. Tundra tailgate decals. More to come.

Well then, that's some bullshit that my 2011 base model CM didn't have dual climate.
Maybe it did and I'm senile.
But I'm pretty sure it didn't.

Where are you located?

I have a 2017 SR5 with a middle bench seat I've been thinking about getting rid of to build my own.
