Tundra cranks but won't turn over.

Hey guys,
New to the forum. Thanks for the welcome. I posted this in my welcome intro but I wanted to get it in the right spot.

Last night my 2012 5.7 tundra kept cranking but would not turn over. I checked the security key and that was not it. Not sure where to start and figured someone on here might have run across this before. I hope at least.
I'm going to replace the battery as soon as the stores open because now it's dead due to cranking last night.

Here's a picture of my truck

Thanks for your reply but its fuel related. Cranks strong with new battery while on a jump.
I sprayed with 2+2 in the intake and it ran for a couple seconds then died again

Sounds like a possible fuel pump issue.

Check the fuel pump relay, you can replace it with the horn relay and see if it starts

So here is the update... I couldn't figure it out myself so I had to get it towed to the shop. It was the ECM!

"The electric*fuel pump*draws high current, so it is not*controlled*directly by the*ECM. Instead, the*ECM controls*a*fuel pump*relay which in turn*controls system*voltage to the*fuel pump*circuit. ... The*ECM*grounds the relay circuit as long as it receives ignition reference pulses.

Hopefully this helps anyone who runs into this problem. It's an easy replacement if you can diagnose it yourself.

Thanks to those who tried to help!

Tundra cranks but won't turn over.

If this happens again please do not use this title that makes no sense. It makes me cross eyed .

Sorry there Sparkey... I was just looking for some advice and then trying to help others out with the solution!

How would you have liked me to title it... I would hate to have your eyes crossed
