Door lock issues

Has anyone else had problems with there power locks going bad. Two weeks ago my driver door stopped working and two days ago my passenger front stopped working. Can still lock and unlock by doing manually. Dealership is taking care of me. Was surprised by the drivers door was really surprised by the passenger two weeks later. This is on a 2013 crewmax.

Have you had the driver's door panel off lately?
Could be a loose plug connection..

I had never had any panels off. My dealer already replaced my drivers door. Taking it in tomorrow so they can check out passenger door. Just hard to believe they would both go bad like that in a matter of two weeks. And I have never read of anyone having issues with these before.

I've read posts on here about the same or similar issue. From what I remember, a very small motor is used that goes bad but is somewhat easy to replace without replacing the whole locking assembly.

yes, this must be a very common issue... they just had to change my door actuator out a couple weeks ago. my friend has a '14 like mine... he had 2 actuators changed out already. good thing they are covered to 36k miles! they are around $250 a piece! i'm about to hit 36k miles very shortly!

i have heard about changing out the tiny elec motor on its own... and will def try that route first if need be!

I have had only the drivers door unlock on my 10 cm.
It only does it in hot weather. It is weird.

I literally locked my doors one day, 2 days later went to unlock the truck and only the drivers door would unlock.

Drove about an hour, and it magically fixed itself. Let it sit, next day, same thing.

The problem was only there in hot weather. I am still miffed as to what the issue is, but it won't happen again till this summer, and then I will take it in.

Actuators going bad. 3 years seems to be about their limit. 2011 crewmax and I had 3 of the 4 doors lock actuators replaced (under warranty) in 2014.
