A little slight of hand?

Edit: Well, the heck. It's working now. Must've been on my end.

That tip is for the stock tailpipe only. It slips over the large expanded end. And uses a spacer and clamp to hold it in place.

Placed my order for a Stainless Steel 8" w/helmotz resonator about 90 minutes ago. Should (maybe) have it shortly after the 4th of July. Many thanx to Keith for the walk-thru ordering. Will post a video of the "Carolina Mating Call" when it's installed.

I've got the same system on my 2013. Absolutely love the sound be sure to install the resonator it really surprised me on how difference it makes with the sound.

@wyo700 - Based on what I've read and "heard" - on you tubes - I plan on doing the resonator...but, how would you describe the difference?

Hey, the man says ya can get a couple extra hp and few ft lbs of torque, not better gas mileage. It is what it is. I'll be in the game soon and it sure won't be for fuel mileage ;-)

Actually, I have heard many that claim to get an increase in fuel mileage from the system.

Went on the highway for a 40 min drive after I installed the resonator and the truck sounds stock.. No drone at all.. Amazing.. Was really nervous to cut the hole though.. Didn't take it off my truck, just undid some grommets and drilled the hole.. Wasn't easy, but it worked.

With out the resonator it's really poppy sounding and uneven tone. Sounds great on the inside but not so much on the outside. The resonator cleans up all of the sound. Makes it deep and throaty. Really surprised me how much difference it made. Would never think it would but it did and made me love the sound even more.
