American Racing Headers Swap

I’m about to pull the trigger on a full AR system w/headers and AFE filter. I’m DAPtized and the system should yield another 70+ hp. I’ve pulled stock exhaust manifolds off other rigs but never off a Tundra nor have I installed headers on a Tundra. Any great tips out there for me? I’ve watched Youtube and done some research but haven’t found much other than planning to fab a special 12mm wrench and not having the truck operational for a day or two.

Anything else I should know? TIA!

You sure you're going to get 70+HP out of that?

If I KNEW I could.. .I would. I just don't believe you get that much out of the 5.7 without forcing more air through it. These engines already breath very well.

The company who did my tune has tested this exact setup on their test Tundra and dyno’ed to ensure the gain is what it is so I’m pretty comfortable with the assurance
