That wouldn't really be an issue.

I think the term "tuning" is not the best term for this.
"Reprogramming" might be better as the primary adjustments are to sensor inputs.

Definitely interested in this. I hate the torque management and the shift points. Why give you that my HP and then neuter it.

Sure hope he gets a lot of these units when they come in. I'm ready.

That is probably the best description for what he has going on.

Any positive feedback on guys with the S/C with a smaller pulley?
I am tempted here, but it may be a bit more than i anticipated. I was told i would need to take my truck to his shop (Ft Worth TX I believe) and install a Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump as the TRD fuel pump cant handle the additional flow from the tune. If its worth it, then I may be doing it.

Dustin said he has to tune the small pulley trucks in person as they are all different. He didn't mention anything about needing a fuel pump.

That's what Dustin told me. I never heard of this before then. I have a much shorter trip then you do to get to his shop, but was hoping to not be the guinea pig on this mod.

Interesting. I'll have to ask him.
I'm not looking for more power tho. I just want the TM reduced and better transmission programming.

I was talking about having Dustin fly in for a dyno day here, but I don't think there would be enough people to make the expense worth it.

From Dustin:

"I will be in Baton Rouge area from the night of the 14th, until the night of the 17th. Will not have access to a dyno, so can't really do any SC trucks, but if any NA 5.7L guys/girls want a tune, PM me."

Another update from Dustin:

"Regarding the Tennessee meet, D.A.P. Tuning will be present and doing tunes, we will be arriving Thur night, and leaving Monday morning. We DO NOT have a mobile dyno, so we will only be doing tunes on the 5.7L Naturally Aspirated 2007-2017 trucks, but we will be there doing them. $400, we accept cash, visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, as well as Venmo. We may also have some promo items with us (don't quote me on this).
Please everyone be safe in you travels."

Dustin is on the move if your gonna be in/around New Orleans LA or Knoxville TN this month.

I received the final MYG file from Dustin tonight and went to install it. Will take the truck for a spin tomorrow to see the difference! Since I'm not near him, I went ahead and bought the Controller and when I go in to the dealership for maintenance, I'll change it back to stock.
One question, I'll have to ask him tomorrow as well.......but he didn't say anything about fuel grades, I'm still running 87 but should I switch to 91 or 93? Thanks

Installed my tune last night also. Already had a tank of 93. I think at least 91 is recommended.

Just to be clear looking at DAP website, do you provide Dustin the inputs for the Tune prior to him sending you the module to load into the trucks ECM if you are not local?

I'm tempting to pull the trigger on this. What's the verdict on the shift points, 5-10% is good?
