I know you had yours installed after 9200 miles. Any thoughts on whether its better to wait to get one installed after somewhat of a "break in" ? I don't plan on ripping on mine, until I have a little seat time in it, but opinions are welcome.
I know cars and trucks that come with blowers have had them since day one, but since the Toyota version, is aftermarket, I thought it was a valid question

I install mine at 300 miles bc I had to empty the 87 octane. I'm at 105k now and all is fine.

If there is fuel in the truck when it arrives at the dealer, could octane boost be added ? Not sure how much fuel they send with the truck from the factory

I'm not sure how well booster would work but I sure won't risk an engine on it.

You have to drop the tank to replace the fuel pump as part of the S/C install, removing the fuel is trivial once they have the tank on the ground.

Still waiting on those videos and more pics LS1steve!

Here in Canada we have to wait for them to stamp the French labels on things before we get ours. So once that's done in gonna be booking my truck in for the SC install! Can't wait!!! Some interesting discussion going on here.

I'm using 91 octane now just to get accustomed to using it and get it running through the engine before the install.

Sorry! I'll get the GoPro charged up tonight and take some tomorrow. I realized its work to find some space to do some WOT runs around here!

Here's a crappy cell video as a teaser...
