Very nice! I just wonder if there would be room to put some inline mini mufflers after the header to tone it down and keep my side exit setup.

Side note. Do the DC trucks come with a two piece drive shaft?

Yes, Keith is making me mid pipes with two other 16" mufflers inline.

And yes, all Double cabs, Crew maxs and regular cabs with long beds have the two piece drive shaft. RCSBs are the only configuration with a single piece drive shaft.

Nice! Please make videos when you get them on. I don't need/want my truck any louder than it is, but I do want these headers.

That's the plan. My mom is visiting and we're gonna spend 5-6 hours on the highway. I know she won't be able to handle the drone for 5 minutes.

So I installed Belltech shocks for a better ride, and I asked Keith to make my exhaust quieter and lower the drone. A few days later the JBA LTs were announced to be released and said WTH I'll get a completely new system. Thanks to the two extra mufflers and the helmholtz resonator, it should reduce the drone and cab noise substantially.

Exactly!! Being 3" it'll be a little louder, but being that the mid pipes will have 16" mufflers in em, and the catback HAS 20" mufflers in it, should be pretty tame. Especially when comparing to what is currently there now.

You can run the Magnaflow no problem. You'll need the headers and a set of mid pipes to connect the headers to the catback.

Is your Magnaflow system true duals or is it single exhaust?

Not an issue at all. It's a simple plug and play

I have the TRD cat-back system on my '12 Crewmax. I'm thinking about doing JBA long tube headers and 2.5" mid-pipes with mufflers (no cats) or your x-pipes if that would work with the TRD.

Would these bolt on to my TRD cat-back? Which mid-pipe would be best?

Headers $569. To keep it from being much louder than it is with say an average catback you'll definitely want to run mufflers in the mid pipes. I can build 2.5" mid pipes that have a 16" muffler in them they're $579.

If you place the order for the headers and mid pipes at the same time the group buy is $150 off and free shipping.

Here's how it breaks down.

Headers. $569
Mids. $579
Group buy-$150
Total. $998 shipped to your door.

Thanks for the thorough explanation and discussing the available options!

I will also say it's pretty shitty that TAP Auto is sending PM's to people who ask in your thread about the headers. Flat out working to steal business from you.
