Respray Tundra

Has anyone had a Tundra re-sprayed to change the color and if so what did it cost? I like the platinum model but would like one in Quicksand. Since that combo is not available I am thinking about a respray. Another option would be a wrap but not sure how the wrap would cover door sills and the like.

10k is a conservative estimate for a respray of appropriate quality for a truck like that.

The cost of fuel to operate a 6000 pound 400 horsepower half ton that does 0-60 in under 7 seconds is kind of like the price of oil changes for a Porche 911. If you have to ask you probably can't afford it.

I was in the same situation. Wanted the best of both worlds, I guess.

As a compromise, I chose the Smoked Mesquite Platinum, and have decided that I made the right choice. I’m thinking that I may have eventually “outgrown” the Quicksand color. With the Mesquite, I hope it’ll stay in style for me longer.

Touching back on this after a year of owning my truck. I am 100% satisfied with the color I chose. I still like the Cement color, but at tired of seeing Quicksand. I feel like I would have to wear Affliction t-shirts, change my name to Brett, and call everyone Bro.
