Thanks for the link. I bought it during Prime Day for $150 and it just arrived. Now I have a new toy to play with this weekend!

I have this one. I like it because it is small and i could put it behind my mirror, and still be able to put up my sunshade.

Looks like a reasonably priced camera with quite a few features. This might be something thwt would be suitable for my vanpool due to the low price tag.

Do you have any pictures of this installed so I can see how discreet it is??

Yeah, those are nice. I have trouble throwing $200-500 around for a good one, too. But get a good one. Watching all those Russian dashcam vids really shows the difference between ratty, almost readable, and wonderfully crisp day and night video footage.

Sweet! I've seen a few times on sale for $150, but I always find another purchase to take priority. Let me know what you think once you install and use a few time.

I pulled the trigger on a Viofo A119 V2 with GPS and a hard wire kit. I've updated the firmware to the latest and will be installing it tomorrow. So far I'm in for $155 which can be had cheaper, but I didn't want to skimp out on a quality micro SD. I'll let you know how it goes.

I have the Momento M5, with front & rear cams, GPS and recording while parked. Itís a bit more expensive, but I only wanted to buy it once. The record while parked is nice, just in case some A-hole hits me in the parking lot or tries to steal my wheels.

Dash Cam

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought a NexGadget dash cam. I run mine whenever I drive my Tundra. It's just plugged into the lighter. I haven't hardwired it in. I bought the 64GB card (most it will take) and it's saved my bacon a few times. Not bad for a $60 dash cam.

Got into a wreck a few days ago. The other driver claimed to have an arrow. Dash Cam proved her wrong. I muted the volume, there was lots of cursing.

Back-up camera for my 2007 Tundra.

I installed the AUTO-VOX M1W camera (wireless) and it works just great. Its wireless so the installation time was about 2-3 hrs (I was in no hurry) as opposed to 4-5 hrs for a fully wired system. I have a 2007 Tundra and the entire wireless system fit inside the LEFT rear light. So its completely water proof and the system is able to communicate very well. Locked it down with wire ties. The camera is water proof and the screen on dash is pretty crisp. You can route the wire from the screen to the cig lighter from the front dash along the windshield for a clean install.
Got if from Amazon for about $110. Well worth the price.

I installed my wired one in less than 30 minutes. Here the parts you need. Add a fuse https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b...add+fuse&pos=0
and a cigarette lighter https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b...FAdapter&pos=1
put the wire under the left front pillar and under the headliner.

I've used both the Viofo A119 v2 and a Spytec A119 v2 (same camera just slightly different firmware) before I upgraded the one in the family vehicle to the Viofo A129 Duo. Wanted one with a rear cam to capture more detail in case of an accident. I am planning to install the Spytec into the Tundra. Just need to get around to doing it.

I use the hardwire kit with the add a circuit and run the wire behind the a pillar shroud. Just have to find an empty slot in the fusebox to power the cam.
