I have a new Revolver X4 and it's sweet, but the "front bulkhead seal" gasket they send for the front of the bed is either 1/4" or 3/4".
Here's what I'm talking about -
I installed 3/4", there is a noticeable hump where it sits as it's too big for a Tundra, I've seen online how this would work well for other makes of trucks. I'll try to post a picture to explain.
So I removed and installed the 1/4", and there was gap between the side brackets and the seal. So I doubled up the 1/4" just under the side rails and installed but then I had a gap between the cover and the bulkhead because I didn't double it up all the way across.
I was worrying about not having a good seal there and getting dust, so I removed, and re-installed the 3/4" and now I'm back to having a hump. I called BAK and they said 1/4 or 3/4 is all they have, they did send me a new 3/4" one however, and that is what they recommended using.
Anyways, I'm sure this applies to the Revolver X2 as well and there are alot of those out there, so has anyone had this issue and come up with a solution? I suppose I can just get two of the 1/4" gaskets and double them up all the way across the bulkhead but I was hoping someone might have found a good 5/8" gasket or something like that.
