Rear slider

Tried a search didn't find anything with what I asked. Is it possible to make the manual rear slide to a motorized one? Or is it a splicing and complete wiring job??

What year Tundra are you referring to? Give me the year and I can check if there's even a power slider available for it. I don't think there is but can look into it for you. Even then if your going from manual to power you'll have to wire a switch to the power slider to operate it. Power sliders come with motor and all already attatched as a single unit.

EDIT: Sorry just reread your question - there is no way to "convert" a manual to power. Two different animals.

2007 Tundra CrewMax 5.7L "Max"- Black with tan/chocolate leather - 20" factory wheels and Powerstop drilled and slotted brake rotors - Fender flares - Bilstein 5100's front and rear - TRD rear sway bar - K&N drop in/carbon filter delete/throttle body screen delete - TRD airbox Flow Accelerator - Dirty Deeds Stainless TRD Rep exhaust with TRD stainless tail pipes

It's a 2011, thanks, I guess I was kinda vague. Figured may have to wire from front to back, but maybe like the info buttons I just installed maybe there was a wiring plug located behind a panel to do so.

I really wanted the roll down rear window but this truck had everything but that. Maybe the next one

I researched it when I got my 2014 SR5.
It would cost over $1K for parts and labor, since you'd have to replace the rear window....

That rear window 64810-0C080 is getting hard to find and most dealerships won't ship it..
But there is one left on Amazon...

2011 parts..

I'm pretty sure my 2014 is already wired for the sliding rear window.
I know there is a wired plug for it behind the dash.

I do miss the rear window going down in my 2005 DC.
I guess my next Tundra will be a crewmax, just to have the rear window that goes down...

I remember having to convince my salesrep to double check his facts after he told me "no power rear glass in DC".This was in 2010.I seldom use it,but it wasn't much $ to add to the option list.

Thanks for the replies, I just thought it was silly to have a manual sliding window way back there. I doubt I'll ever use mine unless I have a passenger back there that wants it open

Lowlife, the full roll down is only avalible in the crewmax? I guess I didn't realise that, I'm new to these trucks, wanted one for a long time and jumped in feet first lol
