You can get a sample from this site for $4 so you can make sure it's close enough for you. I was skeptical and am a little OCD and I'm extremely satisfied with the match.

Reviving an old thread, sorry.

I did some research, and ordered a sample of 3M 1080 G120 Gloss White Aluminum to try matching 1D6 Silver Sky. Looks pretty good in the evening light, I'll tape it on the truck and drive around tomorrow. I'll try to get some pictures, too.

So far, it looks pretty good. Not 100%, but pretty good. Good enough that for matching bumper ends, it should be good to go. I'll let you guys know more tomorrow.

I have a sample of that too. It's pretty close. I was going to use it for my bumpers and grille surround just haven't got to that project yet

I haven't gotten that far yet. I was going to measure up the bumpers with a measuring tape. Nice thing about the 14+ for this are the split bumpers, so I should be able to get away with four smaller pieces (one each corner) vs two larger pieces (one each front and back).

That link to Amazon above has a bunch of sizes listed. I'm thinking 5' x 1' should be enough to cover each corner (hope I don't have to bump to 5'x2'), and that's $17 each x 4 = $68. Not bad. 5'x2' is $27 x 4 = $108. Still not bad.

Here are some shots to show how it looks taped to my truck in a couple different lights. My truck is filthy - pollen and rainy season in VA - so I washed a small spot to tape it down. I don't think the vinyl is as reflective as the paint - which accounts for why the back piece doesn't match as well, the body panel is angled down just a bit and reflects up the darker pavement better in the paint than the vinyl. The front spot looks pretty good - especially when you take a few steps back.

For less than (or just barely over) $100, it's worth a shot. Should be good enough for 20 feet or 20 mile an hour.

I know there's already two pages saying the same things, but that looks great! Truck looks way more "finished" in my opinion.
