How big of a hit did you take with a leveling kit?

Have a wheelie nice day!

I really havenít noticed any change in MPG from adding the level kit. The tire size is enough that I need to get my speedo re calibrated. Speedo/odometer is off by about 10%, taking that into account my mpg hasnít changed much at all.

If your speedo is off and your mpg hasnít changed, then itís probly off too. When you get your speedo recalibrated youíll see it in the mpg, as revolutions of the wheels based on their circumference is how it gets the distance is part of what it uses and that will change due to the new circumference of the tires. Plus it still has the history of data with the old tires in it. Probly wonít change by much tho.

Finally got my wheels and tires mounted today. 3.5" total front lift, 2" rear. 35 x 11.50 on 20x9 fuel nutz wheels. Rides good, pretty happy with it so far.

Installed some Iron Cross Patriot Boards. Love the look on my Silver 1794. Love that they donate money to Folds of Honor helping the families of our fallen veterans and disabled veterans.

I put the black Folds of Honor Iron Cross boards on my Tundra, as well. Really like those steps, as well as the support they give.

Oh yeah..... I would say it brought back about 90% of the stock torque. with the 35's and 4.30 it was sluggish and gears hunted all the time on the freeway. with the 4.88 pulls good again and with the Auburn it is a beautiful thing seeing two lines in the rear view mirror after launching from a complete stop.

I had some 10 ply load range E Michelin Defenders installed to replace my stock tires. I'm seeing and extra 75-100 km per tank. I run them a few PSI higher than the door sticker as they are actually rated for 90 psi. As an added bonus they have an extra 1/8" of tread depth too over the passenger truck tire. The difference in ride quality is minimal.

Got a TRD Pro grille off CL. It came with a chrome surround and hood bulge though. Thought I could live with the chrome for now but decided it’s got to go. So now I’m trying to paint the extra chrome pieces in MGM. Stupid, I should’ve just bought a new set already color matched.
