I painted them with the same paint I did my retrofit with. I'm amazed how close it matches the Magnetic Grey color. I think it's just a tad darker, but I believe you have to look really close to notice.

Destroyed a 3-day weekend doing it all by myself, but now I have a new soundsystem in the truck.

Kenwood DDX9903S
Maestro Rr
Kicker separates in front doors
5.25" Kickers in the rear door (wish I would've gone 6.5" there... didn't realize the size of the hole in the doors)
Kicker KXA800.5 amp
Single 10" Alpine in a box by Net Audio

Had to put a spacer under the back of the box. Dang sub was resting on the carpet.... Not impressed with Net Audio... And the dash kit Crutchfield gave me... sub par. But at least it was free. I would be pissed if I paid for it.

Made a few mistakes doing it myself... Swapped the RCAs for the front and rear speakers... Hooked up the right rear speaker to the wrong set of wires.. (I spliced into the connector on the pillar between the front and rear doors. It had 2 pairs of wires that looked exactly like what went to the speaker. I figured which were the right ones and then promptly connected to the wrong pair. )..... When I first turned everything on and realized the audio wasn't right I cringed wondering how badly wrong I'd wired everything...

Got to fine tune the sound and the settings on the amp as well as call SiriusXM to turn on the new radio and I'll be all set.

I turned off my Tapatalk signature so you never know where I'm posting from...

Installed Spidertrax 1 1/4" wheel spacers. Running stock TRD wheels/tires with no lift/level yet. Gives the truck a bit of a better look, or at least more of what I wanted it to look like. Install was easy once I bought a new torque wrench... Always new tools needed.

Do you not feel funny about having less thread with the spacers? I would feel way more comfortable with extended studs + spacers.

The lug nuts they provide for the spacer go through till stud is showing when tightened and the new studs on the spacer itself seem plenty long, even with the wheel in place.

Per directions, I pulled all 4 wheels tonight after 50 miles and checked to make sure none turned at 87 torque. Of course lug 20 of 20 turned, so I pulled that spacer and reinstalled with new lock-tight.

What have you done to your Tundra this week? Part 5!

Got to install these:

Firestone Ride-Rite 2810 kit. Comes with a harness that runs all the way to battery and fuse jumper. Very impressed and love the handling at 10 psi unloaded. I have them coupled with the Fox 2.0 shocks all around.

Looks like Toyota finally decided to put in LEDs, can we get a close up on your headlight fixtures with the lights off?

Did you have steering wheel controls? Did you lose the functionality of them by going aftermarket?
