Found that these 921 can just be dropped right in no hyper flash no resister needed for rear turn

If this works I’ll then move onto figuring out the front. Vleds look awesome but just too much money

Going to try them, I have a bunch of other bulbs by siriusled and they are pretty darn good

Couple dudes on tundras.com use them and they work really well

I'm going to sub to your thread and look forward to hearing your results.
I'm also wanting to go LED with front and rear turn signals.
I agree the Vleds are very expensive.

I ordered LED front parking light, interior, and license plate bulbs from Headlight Revolution.

https://headlightrevolution.com/vehicles/toyota-tundra/

One plate bulb went out after a week, and they sent me another one no charge.
4 months so far so good.

Today I ordered cargo and 3rd brake light bulbs from them.
I'll see how that goes and might buy F/R turn signal bulbs and resistors from them.
That would run about $120.

Going to wait and see how your bulbs work out.
I've never had luck with any LEDS I bought from Amazon.
The interior lights from Amazon flickered after a month, some stopped working.
Same goes for the plate lights I bought on Amazon.
But they were all cheap ones.

Learn it, know it, live it.

This brand is kinda mid grade, not super cheap but no where near vleds

I have my wife’s entire sienna done with them and they have been good

I have their 921 in my two cargo lights and third brake lights and they work awesome

They blow away the headlight revolution ones I took out

I’ll update again when I get the brake light bulbs and these miracle turn signals that you don’t need a resister for lol

Try this brand 921 for your cargos you’ll like them way cheaper than headlight rev and also a true white, no blue tint

I bought the entire headlight rev kit, it all seems to have a slight blue tint and the vanity lights are way too blue

I’m am slowly replacing them with these

So far so good

Here is the link of the ones I put in third brake light and cargo light. I was a little concerned about white led for red brake but crap you can’t even tell it’s stupid bright straight red. I’m sure the Vleds would be brighter but these are good without paying a stupid price for a bulb

We’ll see how they last

The first time the oracle leds let me down the truck went into limp mode. I didn't check for a code. The bulbs were installed for about two weeks. I pulled the bulbs out and the truck ran fine. Figured out which bulb was bad and sent it back. The 10 amp fuse didn't blow.

The second and third time (this last time) the 10 amp reverse light fuse blew. The cruise didn't work, trac light was on, and no reverse lights.

The truck gives a P0705 code, Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction, when the 10 amp fuse blows.

To me its ridiculous that my transmission is depending on my reverse lights fuse to function properly. I understand that several ECUs are communicating with inputs from sensors but that combination is strange.

Do it. These lights are bright.
It's weird the oracle reverse lights let me down three times in five years. But the same bulb is in the cab light with no issues in five years.
Likely because the temperature extremes in your tail light housing are vastly different than the temps inside your cab. Varying temperatures wreak havoc on electrical items.

ok 921 bulb works fine no resister needed.

brighter than stock for sure, works perfect.

here is a video, obviously its daytime but you can still tell its substantially brighter than stock, very nice for 25 bucks for both.

I may add the LR6 Vled resister anyway when I do the front but for now, works fine, doesn't even matter its white bulb, its a nice red color when on.

I ll get a nighttime later

So the VLR3 is for front and rear.
Since your rears don't need the resistor, should you get the VLR 6?

Fixing LED Hyper Flash - Load Resistors

I bought the same bulbs you did after HR canceled my order for me.
The ones I bought from Amazon came today; 2X cargo, 3rd brake, and rear turn signals.
I ordered the 3157ck for rear brake and front turn/DRL directly from SiriusLED and they shipped today.

I'm trying to figure out what size resistor I need for the front, since the rears don't seem to need one.

Thinking about the basic ones on Amazon, but I like the heavy duty VLED resistors.

Im going with the VLR 3, just on the rears, that way if I ever want to upgrade or change these 921 bulbs (which seem to be the only ones around that don't need a resister) I don't have to mess with it anymore

I was happy to see they had some of these in the closeout VLR3 and 6.

I thought the same thing, I like the way the Vled VLR 3 and 6 are set-up seems really nice and I like its a substantial set-up all the way to the wire clip system. The resister isn't the place to go cheap in my opinion.

you could just to VLR6 on the fronts and be fine as well since these 921 work fine without anything else done
