Question Fogs suck, any ideas?

So the stock fog lights just don't seem to have any punch at all. On the Tacoma they really add alot of light but these just seem to add a small bit to the far outside of the truck. Anyone had any luck with just changing to some other lamps?

i completely agree about the stock fogs.
they, like most factory fogs, are in my opinion a novelty that more often than not just end up being a distraction to oncoming traffic. due to this i replaced mine with a set of rigid d2's to use outside of the city where lighting is more valuable. they've been awesome and i would do it again without thinking about it.

The Rigid DOT legal replacement fogs are pretty good and have a cut off so they don't blind others on the road.

Thanks for the feedback guys and I'll check those out. Just figured there'd be a different lamp that would give a bit more punch without having to do a full replace on the units themselves. There has to be a good replacement lamp from someone?

If your running a Pro, pick out your favorite pair of Rigids and their Tundra install kit and go for it.
They look great..

I found an old post and someone had done the Phillips Crystal headlamps and the Morimoto XB fogs. That looked pretty sweet and seems to be a quicker install than the Rigid's. Still undecided though.. always more research to do..

Anyone running the Lamin-X on the Morimoto's? Any feedback on that color change and it affecting the punch on the lights?

Another vote for Morimoto, just make sure you adjust them properly, they come aimed too low.
