Sorry... I missed the why.

I tried to have one of those cut at ACE and they refused. Said they wouldnt take responsibility for an expensive key.

The locksmith up the street is cheaper anyway.

There were literally 3 employees involved and debating about whether or not to cut the key for me. In the end, I had to sign a waiver and they cut it (free too) for me though.

One piece Fob?

Received my switch blade key a couple days ago. Had it cut at HD and programmed it with Techstream today. Pretty easy process and works great. Thanks @planomateo for the detailed instructions in post #51 . I still want the all-in-one key though. Just not sure if one is made for my 09. Attachment 692242

Sent OVNISF a note on ebay asking if and when he might get any more of the all-in-one keys. I have not received a response.

i did the same also, and also still haven't heard back from him. i'm not a big fan of the switchblade style, and i tried to get an all in one key to work by attempting to switch out the chip on the board, but i failed miserably lol.

With my order, he said it shipped the next day but all he did was print a label. I contacted him twice over the next week with no response (still to this day). When the delivery date finally arrived and it had not been delivered I went to file a claim with Paypal for a refund, that is when I notice he had finally shipped it that day. I got it the next day. His customer service sucks but as long as you get the key it is worth it IMO.

doubt any negative yelp reviews would do any good since they are probably under his brick and mortar store. now a negative feedback on ebay would hurt just as much.

They are different names, but he only seems to care about his local business. Might get his attention.

This is the eBay message that I got from Ovnisf. But this is for the switchblade style key. Tracked my switchblade key that I ended up ordering from Taiwan when Ovnisf canceled the order that I placed with him originally for the same key.

Is the range pretty good on these? my factory one is the best range I've ever seen from a stock key fob. Does it compare?
