And that sucks about the trailer man.

Master used to make a full stainless body tongue lock. Was great. Stainless is a bitch to cut, and it encased itself. Not the u-shaped bar locks that you can just smack off with a hammer. Really, those locks you can just smack with a hammer a few times and they break. We had some that keys didn't match at work, or would seize up, and that is the solution. Just break it. 10 seconds and off.

Was just like this, but full stainless.

The ones you can just smash off look like this...

Yep, It was the yellow one that I had that got cut off. Bastard's

Get the one in the pic. It isn't the stainless, but it's still the best coupler lock I have found.

AND damn. They actually cut the yellow type? That makes it worse as they were amateurs.

Hope insurance covers the loss. Really sucks. Trailers are pricey, especially if you decked it out how you needed.

Here is the prototype powdercoated and installed. We are going with the two lid option, and as soon as it is recut and fitted, we will get it into production. I am hoping they start next week. If they do, they should be ready around the second week of July. Hit me up with any questions.

Do we have an idea on cost? Also are you going to make a composite version?

We are going to release them at $699.95 for the first order. Once we get through those, it will go up to $749.95. It is more expensive because of the added cost of the seat rails and also the material costs went up. As far as a composite version, that is not in the plans. I do not have a composite source and I would be worried about the metal seat frames breaking the material.

I am absolutely in on the 60/40 metal locking under-seat rifle storage. Will I be able to do the install myself with standard tools? I see the floor is removed/folded forward after the seats are out to replace the rails. I'm not sure how to manipulate the flooring. I'll email you guys too.

Prett sure you'll do fine. I will post an install video when we put in the prototype that is being made with the 60/40 lids. The carpet is really simple. Just clips into the sides where the door sills are.

Guess I will wait until you post the installation instructions. I was hoping to not have to cut the carpet on my new truck. But we shall see. I really like the idea.

if you didn't cut the carpet you would end up with a 2 inch deep compartment at best.
