I'm not a big racer or anything, but I have some off road motorcycle racing in my background so when challenged at a stop light I can't resist usually.
So far, at 10K miles on my 14' DC - I've whooped an Ecoboost Ford Sedan(focus??) and a Sporty Scion of some type - both quite soundly.
I watched a Youtube vid shot in Denver area where the Dodge 5.7 and the Ecoboost F150 did slightly better times in the quarter mile but I'm not sure how that translates to here at Sea-level.
Does anyone have experience against these two vehicles - or any other stockers? I'd prefer to pick my battles and will avoid those two if the moment comes....unless....
Also, I'm not going to "hop-up" my truck but if an aftermarket intake or exhaust might tip the scales against the Dodge and Ford I might consider it.
Thoughts?
