One of these seem to stick out to anyone else besides me? That's awfully fast for an F-one-fiddy

My last ticket I was doing 78 in a 40, on a 5 lane two way. I literally just punched it from the speed limit, a few seconds later I saw the cop. I hit the brakes, wrote me 65 in a 40, got turned into an impeding traffic ticket.

Fastest I got away from was 123ish on a highway. Cop was oncoming. He was doing 80ish in the fast lane. Faster than the other cars, and luckily for me he was going too fast to stop in time for the turn-around. I just hopped off at the next exit, figured might as well keep speeding till the exit.

A buddy is a Tx State Trooper, and he gets all kinds of cars going at the speeds listed, must be a Texas thing to go 130+.

Well, we do have the highest posted speed limit in the United States that I know of.

Texas State Highway 130..
I-35 Georgetown to southeast Austin 80 MPH
Southeast Austin to I-10 Seguin 85 MPH
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_State_Highway_130

I run it to San Antonio from Dallas sometimes at work.

Learn it, know it, live it.

Fall of 1984. In college in Seattle. On my way back from the football game to the fraternity, on my Suzuki GS1000S, I decided to wind her up. Lots of police around for the pending end of the game and related traffic control. They wrote me for: estimated 125mph in a 35mph zone.

This is me smiling >>>>

I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

An F150 going 150 MPH didn't seem crazy to anyone else. I guess it could be heavily modded....just hard to imagine a truck at 150mph.

I think itís pretty safe to assume itís modified. I believe they are limited to around 115 or so from the factory.

I frequently do 120+ in certain places in Mexico in the truck. Pretty anticlimactic honestly

I've seen 115 a few times on a Tundra somewhere...... with what looked like 33ATs.... with plenty to go..... I just can't remember where at the moment.

You can tune a stock 5.0 F150 to run 12s from the factory. I believe they are governed at 105.
