Why does gator taste like fish to me?

Even had gator ribs, tasted like bbq fishiness, with a smokey hint, and bbq sauce.

I wonder if penguin tastes like fish or duck... Hmmm.

In the olden days a retired Italian fisherman made a pot of cioppino to share. The main seafood ingredient he used was eel.
Funny, the eel steaks in the cioppino tasted exactly like fish to me ~ I couldn't tell the difference.
Tony was a fantastic cook ~ likely the last job he held on the tuna boats docked near his home on San Diego Bay.

Lol at the pun.

I have even had Eel, and it was fishy.

I don't get it. Battered deep fried conch tastes ok, but it's also battered and deep fried, and I was in the Bahamas, so it was super fresh.

Some people think certain fish doesn't taste like fish. It all tastes like seafood, fishy. Lobster, crab, perch, whale, shark, it all tastes fishy.

I guess fish is a dish, cologne leave it alone is a saying to some... If it's fishy, imma pass.

Either way, Merry Christmas once again, and I hope they have ham or turkey, or pulled pork and not seafood. Lol.

Well, I wish I knew ! My compadre was on a vacation to Vietnam and I asked for some pics ~ this is one he sent along with a couple of videos as well.
I did my time in Vietnam circa 1970 kicking tires and pumping gas on the C7A Caribou but never did get so see much of the country.
Lots have changed in 50 years !

Definitely Vietnam

Well, my memory is the thing I forget with.
He likely took a trek to Thailand while he was in Southeast Asia and I forgot all about it. @StevenD @Jack McCarthy

At the end of my MetalMonkey career I was one of the few employees that was not fluent in Spanish as well as English !
The guys tried to teach me a few key phrases ~ the above was one of them . . .

Happy New Year !
