Agree, its not bad but nothing special... Lagunitas (Maximus) was very good, they didn't have their regular IPA I'll be on the lookout for that next. Saving the New Belgium for tomorrow don't want to mix too many today...

I'm on a self imposed whiskey ban since Easter, lets just say it wasn't pretty, that's all I have to say about that

Well it goes something like this...started cooking about 11am, cracked a few beers, company comes over like 1pm...I breakout the hard stuff, last thing I remember it was around 4:30pm and then I wake up the next morning...wife's not talking to me, I tell her if all it takes for her not to talk to me is whiskey I'll be drinking it everyday

She tells me she ruined the turkey, kids are pissed at me...

I have been dieting like a lunatic since early March, diets and hard alcohol don't mix for me so until then I have banned me

Beer on the other hand, there is a 'samich' in every bottle...

Agreed. I've had many bottles and once from a tap, and for some reason I think it tastes better in bottles. Maybe the keg was an old one, tho.

Anyone local to OC / Anaheim area, make a stop at Noble brewing. Right on the south side of Angels stadium and across the freeway from ducks / Anaheim stadium. Great beers, in housing taste room, etc.

Also, if anyone goes shoot me a PM and we can have a tundra meet up for some beers B)

Picked up a 12 pack of Stone's IPA mixed pack over the weekend, great selection of IPA's.

New Belgium Ranger is very nice, light and smooth would be a good choice for a high quantity IPA situation, which could happen like say after you cut the lawn, spray some weed killer or turn on the automated pool cleaner

I rate it 7 1/2 BAM mufflers

I got a chance to have a few more Lagunitas Maximus this afternoon (MLB afternoon game since @StevenD wants a reason for drinking early) and let me tell you these things are damn good

Thanks to @richardabe @marc11 for suggesting the Lagunitas brand and @Onion you got to give these a second chance....

edit: almost forgot I rate these 8 Demelo bumpers

Was in St. Louis this week and checked out Ferguson and Standard breweries. Ferguson was decent, nice Amarillo IPA and decent pale ale. They had a Pecan Brown ale that was surprisingly good and I'm not a brown ale fan.

Standard was meh, not bad but nothing special.

Completely agree. I just stumbled (should I admit that?) onto a pack of these Victory DirtWolf's yesterday based on some local's recommendation and had my first one today. A nice balance of flavors.
