We have a big family Christmas eve with everyone. We buy for all the nephews and nieces so we know they have something good for Christmas.

Daughters, Son , SIL wife and myself, basically figure what we want and they go buy it on Black Friday.

I know sometimes what I see is not what everyone else sees.

The voices in my head don't like you

Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.

Seems to me like the guy who took that picture could be slightly psycho lol sitting at his comp proly just got done google earthing his nemesis which obviously calls for some deodorant because you can't be preoccupied with our own body odor while trying to hold someone up with a fluorescent toy gun and two mags fully loaded with some ice cold water which seems to be fully supplied behind the gun. Seems harmless unless his nemesis works for a power company and he plans to shoot water on the live wire 😱😱

The gun could be made with polyethelene plastic and the clip loaded with hydroflouric acid...

Yep. Wife blows likes to blow tons of money on gifts and somewhere along the line managed to sneak expensive vacations around November or December into the routine. She is one of those people who gets started shopping in like late summer and seems to try to get something for damn near everybody she knows. Around that time of year there is literally an Amazon box on the front stoop just about every day. I on the other hand am the stressed out guy trying to figure out what everybody wants in the last week before.

The one nice thing is there is an agreement between us to forego the surprises and just tell each other what we want. Couple too many bad experiences of spending a crapload of dough on stuff that turned out to not be quite right. I was in the car with her and one of her girlfriends just the other day and they were talking about how somebody else's husband keeps trying to buy the perfect gift and failing miserably at it. Dude is head of oncology at some hospital somewhere probably pulling down north of 200K and taking damn good care of his family and they're talking about how he bought her a Coach purse in some horrible color he should have realized she would never like. If he can't win either, there's definitely no hope for me. FVK that, last Christmas mine emailed me links to everything and I just walked into each store, called up the email, showed the clerk the item number, and said wrap it up and come get me when she needed my credit card. Everybody is happy and I don't blow a bunch of money on stuff only to have her talk shit about it to her girlfriends behind my back later.

I prefer spring/early summer over the holiday season. Spending slows down, not a bunch of birthdays or special occasions, so I get to pay off all my bullshit and then blow a few bucks on myself.

The cost of fuel to operate a 6000 pound 400 horsepower half ton that does 0-60 in under 7 seconds is kind of like the price of oil changes for a Porche 911. If you have to ask you probably can't afford it.
