Just by way of introduction, I just brought home my first pickup, A nautical blue 2011 double cab with a 4.6 V8, 'work truck' & 'tow' packages. Drove it off the lot for less than 25k, and most important to me, it fully paid for.
I don't actually 'need' a big-ass pickup. In fact I work at home and don't drive much at all. It's for camping, fishing, taking the dogs to the park, etc...I could probably get by just fine with a Honda Fit, but I'm in my 40's and wanted a proper 'man' car. The Tundra is the vehicle I wanted and I was lucky enough to get a decent deal.
I've put a whopping 125 miles on it so far but I'm really loving it. Zero buyers remorse and my wife is even cool with it.
I, on the other hand, am mega f#cking happy.
