hello from the netherlands (europe)
We are recent the proud owner of a 2011 5,7 limited crewmax Tundra.
White body and painted bumpers, black 22" rims,
We already owned 2 dodge's and the last one, was serious trouble. Within a week of purchase the engine backfired. Valves, heads, rockers etc, everything had to be renewed. We managed to get the damn thing running again. But i've lost the feeling and trust with the dodge.
Never ever again this kind of trouble. Almost all the parts we had to ship from the USA, not to mention the extra shipping costs etc.
After a few years driven little european cars, the itch still remains. Every week the wife's bin moaning about a big american pick-up.
So the search end up with a purchase of a Toyota Tundra.
The wife and kids happy. And i gain trust in the car. Everyday more and more.
Everybody say's the toyota's are reliable. But parts are very rare here in Europe. So i keep my fingers crossed, that nothing will happen again.
The tundra is converted to liquefied petroleum gas (lpg or propane) because the gas prices here are sky-high (7,8$/gallon)
I want to lift the front end a bit, so that's how i come across this forum. Ton's to read, and even more ideas what can be done. So now i can moan to my wife, that i want even more things done to my truck.
Next thing on the list will be JBA headers and a BaMuffler
