Hello, I bought my 2014 TRD Off-road package 5.7 Ltr V-8 07/2017 and I love it! So far it’s a daily driver with a little off-roading. It’s stock so far and does great in Montana snow and ice and trails. I plan to add a K&N filter and all terrain tires. My wife and I love driving it and we actually take turns because she loves it so much!
Research the K&N more before you do it. They aren't that great at capturing dirt and your gains will be very minimal. If you meant a K&N cold air kit, save your money, the existing setup is already a cold air kit.
Montana is gorgeous...post pics of that thing in the wild.
42,000 on my 2014 TRD crewcab. I just left San Diego last year. Miss the weather but not the traffic. I have mountain views front and back on my farm and a lot of my roads are dirt or gravel and there are plenty of trails, rivers and lakes to explore.
Good idea to read up on K&N. They let more dirt in is what I was informed. Although I do have a CAI with K&N on my 2000 Jeep TJ. It sounds great and I love the torque of the I6 4.0
