Long-time lurker

Hey everyone. I'm a long-time lurker, and finally starting my search in earnest to pick up my Tundra. I've got my eye on a '16 CM Platinum, that hopefully will be mine after negotiations with the dealer.

Really looking forward to finally getting into the truck I have been drooling over for the past few years and starting to make it my own.

edit:

It's mine! Picked up the truck after lunch on Monday, and drove home through the DC rush hour traffic. When looking at the listing, I saw a bed cover, which I thought was some kind of soft cover. After getting to the dealer, I realized that it has a rolling hard cover! Needless to say, I was very pleased with that. Just have to get it re-keyed as they didn't have the key for it.

TRD Pro grill has already been ordered through Cool Springs, next on the list is wiping out the last of the chrome with mirror caps and door handles. Wheels and tires will stay for a bit until I decide which direction I want to go.

Oh, and please excuse the pollen. I swear it was still black when I went to sleep last night!

Welcome in kid from deep in the heart of Dixie.

I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

Finally finished all my searching. Deals agreed to and signed off. The wife and I are driving 6+hrs on Monday to pick up my new truck. I did in fact end up getting a 2016 CM Platinum with 30k miles.

Beyond excited to drive it away!

BTW, does anyone know what bed cover I have just by sight? I don't see any brand markings or anything on it.

@cynikai

The canister and flap over the locking mechanism looks exactly like the Retrax Pro tonneau cover installed on my rig.

Yep, that looks exactly like mine! The brackets clamping it into the rail system are the exact same also. Thanks!
