I got an Uber 5-pack. 2 orange, 2 green, 1 black. Then when I ordered from AutoGeek I got one LC black pad so I had two of each.

If you go with Über pads, get:

2 orange - cutting
2 green - jeweling
2 black - sealant

Howdy,

I ended up with a bottle of this:

http://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-Class-Shampoo-Conditioner-64oz/dp/B0009IQXFO
I've been using the Sonax Gloss Shampoo.

Is the Shapoo & Conditioner in one ok or should I use it on say...the girlfriend's car?

Thanks

I've never tried it, but Pinaccle makes some great stuff. I'm sure it's a nice AIO.

Glad to hear it as CostCo was selling it & I ran out of Sonax. With the sale at DD this weekend I will stock up again.

Got my backer and pads, ended up going with lake country. Also got a 3M eraser wheel for some debadging. Now all I need is some decent weather to get it done.

touch up paint

Great work with this forum section. Super helpful! I wanted to touch up some gravel chips on my hood and other various chips. I found a website, automotivetouchup.com that seems pretty legit. Questions:

1) Do you have any experience with them, does the paint match up?
2) Jumbo, you mentioned that you tape up a section, get the paint on a pin head, apply and let it dry. Do you then use a disposable razor to even it out? How is it not going to look pock marked and look flat like the rest of the paint job?
3) This website sells paint pens or spray, which one would work best?

Thanks in advance, Matt

Guru, is armor all still the worst thing to put on your dash? Figured they would fix the formula by now. If still junk, then what do you recommend. Dash looking dull and in desperate need of some cleaner/protectant.
